Few months ago, I published a blog post How to become BigCommerce Developer, I received few requests to teach BigCommerce development. I couldn’t pursue those requests because of my full time job at that time. Considering the recent career change, I’ll be focusing more time on the BigCommerce ecosystem (developing apps & themes, ERP Implementations etc) and also working on preparing a BigCommerce development course based on my decade long experience within ecommerce development industry.
I’ll be starting my first batch in mid January 2023. First batch will be free for all the applicants. In this course, Apart from going over BigCommerce platforms and BigCommerce Theme Development, I’ll also go over how to handle different types of ecommerce projects (eg: migrating from one platform to another, omni-channels integrations, offering subscriptions, multi-vendor ecommerce, B2B and B2C etc), how to optimize website for core web vitals and ADA compliance and how to handle third party apps integrations (Eg: Bold Subscription, SearchSpring, ShipperHQ, Flxpoint etc)
At the end of this course, you will have an assignment to develop a fully custom theme for a sample BigComerce website including apps integrations.
Top 3 Candidates, who will complete the assignment within allocated time frame and with great code quality & site performance, will receive financial sponsorship for BigDev Bootcamp Certification (~700 USD).
Eligibility
- You must have a strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
- You should be able to create Custom HTML/CSS Web Page from Figma/XD/PSD Design file
- Should be able to dedicate at least 10 hrs per week towards learning BigCommerce
